I’m Oscar, a London-based visual storyteller with a diverse skill set. From capturing moments on the streets to my experience in sports production, I've developed a keen eye for storytelling through photography and videography.

london black & white series
The allure of black and white street photography lies in its timeless elegance and the ability to distill a moment to its purest essence. Stripped of color distractions, it invites viewers to focus on the interplay of light and shadow, the subtle nuances of emotion, and the intricate details of urban life.
Black and white street photography captures the soul of the streets, conveying a sense of timelessness and a deeper connection to the human experience. It's a medium that transcends the ordinary and transforms the mundane into art, inviting us to see the world through a different, more introspective lens.
"Color is descriptive. Black and white is interpretive."

Sports production
For 3 and a half years I worked for a sports production company based in South London, Sharp Focus.
I was involved in all aspects of production from conceptualisation to filming, editing, colour grading, sound mixing, all the way to delivery to the client.
Clients included some of the UK's main governing bodies of sport, such as the English Cricket Board, the Football Association, the Lawn Tennis Association, and UK Sport.

MUSIC
During Covid I jumped on the chance to document one of the largest music protests to ever hit the streets of London.
Freedom to Dance was a gathering of music lovers from around the country who came together to stand up for music and hospitality venues across the country who were not granted funding by the government during Covid, and were therefore forced to close their doors.
I have also worked as a photographer in the music industry.

Utternonsense/finding emerson
Over the last few years I have worked on a freelance basis with a Norfolk based photographic business called UtterNonsense.
I have been involved in web design, marketing, and content creation both for exhibitions and social media.
Finding Emerson was a photographic festival created by UtterNonsense and located in Great Yarmouth with a range of artists exhibiting in a variety of locations across the town.
The opening sequence to a film I shot and edited for Utter Nonsense looking at the life and work of 19th century photographer P.H. Emerson
